変な外人

Stephen John Fry (born 24 August 1957) is an English humorist, writer, wit, actor, novelist, filmmaker, and television presenter. As one half of the Fry and Laurie double act with his comedy partner, Hugh Laurie, he co-wrote and co-starred in A Bit of Fry and Laurie and Jeeves and Wooster. He is also known for his roles in Blackadder and Wilde, and as the host of QI. In addition to writing for stage, screen, television and radio, he has contributed columns and articles for numerous newspapers and magazines, and has written four successful novels and an autobiography, Moab Is My Washpot.

Очень люблю переходить дороги. Люблю улыбаться водителям, которые уступают. Хоть улыбка-то эта идет в никуда - в один только коротенький миг, когда он стоит перед тобой и (устало? нервно? благодушно? равнодушно?) смотрит, когда (наконец? только?) эта (милая? красивая? улыбчивая? так себе?) девушка перейдет дорогу. И на это мгновение, когда мы не-думаем друг о друге, в моей улыбке и в его ответной, происходит общение, из которого могло бы получиться нечто долгое и бесконечно прекрасное - и так хорошо, что никогда не получается. Потому что надежда на это долгое и бесконечное всегда лучше того, что могло бы быть. ... why i am so not-organized - it took me almost a year to fix my internet, and i needed a solid reason to do that -
... why i am so calm about things people are normally nervous about - time, place, and life in general - and nervous about things people are normally calm about - feelings of other people around -
... why i am not afraid - even though today i felt my life leaving me and managed to keep it here with me for an unclear reason -

p.s. i don't feel like being alone this evening. ZH is with her boyfriend, J left for Crimea today, and i somehow feel lonely. i'm even a little sorry for my urge to have a company of another human being )

она сидела и думала, почему говорит себе о себе в третьем лице и почему у нее в голове столько мыслей, которые нельзя передумать.
потом встала и сделала чай.
и поняла, что эти мыслеобрывки не додумать - что они случайно всплыли на поверхность сознания и что сейчас-или-после обязательно опять пойдут на дно. что на главные - несформулированные - вопросы найти ответы так и не удастся.
это не хорошо, но и не плохо. так есть.
